LITERACY DAY

On the occasion of Literacy Day, vibrant activities were conducted across Classes I-V to ignite a passion for language and literature. Students of Classes I and II watched an informative video on the life and works of Rabindranath Tagore, the Nobel laureate poet and educator, followed by an engaging online quiz that tested their knowledge with enthusiasm, enhancing listening, comprehension, and digital skills.

Meanwhile, a Poem Edition activity was conducted for students of Classes III to V. Students were given poems with missing words and were encouraged to complete them creatively using suitable vocabulary. The activity resulted in the creation of many new and imaginative poems, making learning enjoyable and interactive. It also helped to enhance students’ vocabulary, language skills and creative thinking, while developing their interest in poetry writing.
