Green Lunch Day Initiative: Nurturing Healthy Habits, One Bite at a Time!

In a bid to promote healthy eating habits and table etiquette, Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar has launched the Meal Marvel initiative for students in Grades KG to V. As part of this ongoing programme, children are encouraged to bring green meals from home every Thursday, which consist of nutritious, plant-based items.

Teachers observe students during lunch breaks, paying special attention to those who demonstrate good eating manners and consistently show disciplined eating habits. These students are then awarded the Meal Marvel Badge as recognition of their positive habits.

This initiative not only encourages healthy and sustainable eating but also fosters a sense of responsibility, respect for food, and awareness of balanced diets among young learners.
