EARTH DAY CELEBRATIONS

Earth Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at our school to spread awareness about environmental protection and sustainability. The event began with a special morning assembly conducted by Class 5-B, where students presented a roleplay highlighting the importance of human responsibility in saving the planet. Their powerful performance inspired everyone to reflect on their actions and their impact on nature.

This was followed by an announcement on the PA system, sharing a heartfelt message from Honourable Chief Minister of Delhi, Smt. Rekha Gupta, encouraging students to conserve electricity and adopt eco-friendly habits.

To further sensitise students, informative videos were shown across classes, helping them understand the urgency of climate action. A range of hands-on activities then took place throughout the day: Eco-craft and a plantation drive for junior students, solar cooker making using discarded pizza boxes for Classes 5 and 6, and creative Agamograph art projects by Classes 8 and 9.

The day concluded with a school-wide cleanliness drive, reinforcing the value of a clean and green environment. The celebrations reminded everyone that every small step counts and that together, we can build a better and healthier Earth.
