Directorate Of Education Organized A Para Sports Event

The Directorate of Education organized a Para Sports event aimed at showcasing the exceptional talents of differently-abled students. Krit Kedia, visually impaired student of class X participated in the same. He displayed remarkable enthusiasm and skill in activities such as yoga, racing, and chess. The yoga segment saw the participants demonstrating excellent physical coordination and focus, proving their dedication to fitness and mental well-being. In the race event, all the students with special needs showcased their determination and athleticism, inspiring the audience with their unwavering spirit and competitive zeal. The chess tournament highlighted their strategic thinking and intellectual capabilities, with several participants impressing judges with their creative moves and calculated decisions. The event not only provided a platform for these students to exhibit their abilities but also reinforced the importance of inclusivity in sports. Their participation was met with immense appreciation from peers and spectators alike, further emphasizing the idea that physical or sensory challenges are no barrier to achieving excellence. Achievements of Krit Kedia are as follows: Yoga- Qualified for state level Chess-Qualified for state level Race- 2nd Position in 200m race

Athletics Zonal Competition

The Athletics Zonal Competition, held from September 09 to 13, 2024, at the Sports Complex in East Vinod Nagar, showcased the exceptional talent and dedication of our athletes. A total of 20 students from Salwan School participated, and their performances were truly commendable: Farha Zafar (ClassXII-D) displayed outstanding skill in long-distance races, clinching the 1st position in the 800m, 1500m, and 3000m events.  Adhrita Ghosh (Class VII-C) excelled in sprinting, securing 2nd positionin the 100m and 3rd position in the 200m races. The 4x100m Relay Team, featuring Adhrita Ghosh, Ishika Singh (Class VII-A), Hitika Goel (Class VII-B), and Anvi Singh (Class VI-C), showcased remarkable teamwork and finished in 2nd position.  Arjun Dixit (Class X-C) also delivered impressive results in sprint events, achieving 2nd position in the 100m and 3rd position in the 200m races. 

CBSE Shooting Competition

We are proud to inform you that our Sub Junior Girls  Anvi class VI- C  4th position, Heeya Makhijani class VIII- B 3rd position and in junior boys Pratik Rajendra shaw class IX- A 3rd  position in the CBSE Shooting Championship which was held at St. Frobel public school, Delhi. Total 40 school teams were participated in the said.
