National and International Achievement in Martial Arts

Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar takes great pride in the outstanding achievements of Abdullah Numair Ahmed, a student of Class XII-A, who has brought honour to the school through his remarkable performance in the field of martial arts. Abdullah won the Gold Medal in JU-JITSU at the Delhi Games 2025, organised by the Delhi Olympic Association on 26 May 2025. Competing against strong contenders, he showed great strength, technique, and focus, earning the top position in his category. Soon after, Abdullah participated in the 18th GFI National Grappling Championship, held in Nashik, Maharashtra from 30 May to 01 June 2025, where he secured another Gold Medal, further proving his skill at the national level. Following these impressive wins, Abdullah has been selected to represent India at the upcoming Asian Grappling Championship in New Delhi, and later at the World Grappling Championship. He will also take part in upcoming Delhi and National level JU-JITSU championships, continuing his journey as a dedicated and talented athlete. His achievements are a reflection of his hard work, passion, and commitment to the sport.

Delhi State Mini Volleyball Girl’s Competition

The Salwan School Volleyball (U-14) girls’ team secured the 2nd runners-up position at the Delhi Mini State Competition held at Soami Model School, Soami Nagar, Delhi, on 4th and 5th December. A total of 17 teams participated in this event. Kavya Parmar, a student of Class 8C, led the team as the captain.
