Nursery Orientation

April 29, 2025Events Onlyby SPS Mayur Vihar

Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar held the Orientation programme for Class Nursery, on Saturday, 22 March 2025, to welcome new parents for the upcoming session. The event commenced with lamp lighting followed by an address by Capt Richa Sharma Katyal, Principal of the school. In her welcome address, she assured parents that the child is in safe hands and our school is a home away from their home.

In her orientation, Smt. Sheetal Kapoor, Headmistress, provided a comprehensive overview of the school’s operations, encompassing activities, infrastructure, facilities, pedagogical approaches, and protocols expected to be followed by parents and students alike. She also emphasised the significance of adhering to an activity-based curriculum. Queries of parents were taken by the School Counsellor and the Special Educator adding value to the parent’s understanding of their roles in their children’s educational journey.

Programme concluded with valedictory address by coordinator Ms. Anjali Malik followed by parents taking a guided tour of the classrooms, where they received informational booklets outlining the upcoming session and met the class teachers.
