Earth Day Celebrations

At Salwan, the endeavour is to provide an inclusive and an enabling environment to all children with varied needs. We firmly believe that each and every child has the ability to learn and maximize his/her potential through adequate learning opportunities, effective teaching and appropriate resources.
On Tuesday, 22 April 2025, the Pre-Primary celebrated Earth Day with meaningful activities designed to help young children understand the importance of protecting the environment. Nursery students participated in a tearing and pasting activity, creating bright green trees, while K.G. students participated in a plantation drive by planting a sapling for their class and making handprints in earth colours. Teachers also spoke to the children about the significance of Earth Day and encouraged them to plant more trees to help save the planet. The celebration was a perfect blend of fun, learning, and raising awareness about caring for our Earth.
