Student Internship at Delhi University Research Lab

At Salwan, the endeavour is to provide an inclusive and an enabling environment to all children with varied needs. We firmly believe that each and every child has the ability to learn and maximize his/her potential through adequate learning opportunities, effective teaching and appropriate resources.
Two students of Class XI B, Ahana Salwan and Arnav Singh, are currently undertaking an enriching internship under the Student Internship Programme at the research laboratory of Delhi University. They are working under the guidance of Dr Firasat Hussain, Professor, Department of Chemistry.
During the internship, the students are gaining valuable hands-on experience with advanced characterisation techniques such as single crystal diffraction and spectroscopy. Their research focuses on d and f block elements, directly aligning with their Class XI and XII curriculum.
This opportunity is not only enhancing their scientific understanding but also nurturing their curiosity and analytical skills. The students are thoroughly enjoying the experience and are expected to continue the internship until Monday, 2 June 2025.
