ROAD SAFETY

On Tuesday, 21 April 2026, Class V-B conducted a morning assembly on the theme of Road Safety, reinforcing the message that road safety begins with each one of us.
It is often said, “Safety is a small investment for a rich future,” emphasising the importance of adopting safety measures today, no matter how small, to ensure a secure and prosperous future. Keeping this in mind, the assembly aimed to make students aware of the importance of following safety rules in all situations to prevent potential risks to life and to promote a safe and secure environment for all.
The assembly commenced with the chanting of the Gayatri Mantra, followed by its meaning and a prayer seeking the blessings of the Almighty. This was followed by the Thought of the Day and a meaningful poem on road safety recited by the students.
Thereafter, the Headmistress, Smt Sheetal Kapoor, felicitated students with Olympiad medals and certificates and addressed the gathering. She emphasised the importance of staying hydrated, maintaining a healthy morning routine, and demonstrated Sheetali Pranayam to help cool the body.
The assembly concluded with her motivating message, urging students to practise road safety and encourage their families to do the same.
