DIWALI CELEBRATION

At Salwan, the endeavour is to provide an inclusive and an enabling environment to all children with varied needs. We firmly believe that each and every child has the ability to learn and maximize his/her potential through adequate learning opportunities, effective teaching and appropriate resources.
As part of Diwali celebrations, students in Classes I and II observed it as a bagless day wherein, they participated in creative activities that highlighted the festival’s significance. Students worked in groups to craft colourful clay representations of traditional Diwali sweets such as ladoos, barfis, and jalebis, showcasing their artistic skills through decoration and arrangement. Students also decorated the 3D paper Diyas with colourful paints and glitter, symbolizing the joy of Diwali. To enrich the students’ understanding of Diwali, a video was screened to educate students about Diwali’s importance and promote eco-friendly celebration practices. The celebration fostered creativity, teamwork, and cultural appreciation among the young learners.
