Celebrating the Spirit of Friendship

Students of Nursery to Class II at Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar celebrated Friendship Day with great enthusiasm on Friday, 31 July 2026 through a series of joyful and engaging activities that highlighted the values of friendship, kindness, and sharing.

The young learners of Nursery and KG enjoyed a special movie screening based on the theme of friendship. A delightful cinema-like experience was created with a ticket counter, entry check-in, security screening, and a popcorn corner, making the event both exciting and memorable. After the screening, the children coloured a worksheet related to the movie and exchanged friendship bands and sweets, reinforcing the values of love, care, and togetherness.

Students of Classes I and II expressed their creativity by making colourful flower bouquets and handmade friendship cards. They wrote a few admirable qualities about their friends on the cards before exchanging them along with the bouquets, making the occasion truly special.

The celebration filled the campus with smiles and warmth, encouraging students to appreciate the importance of friendship, gratitude, and meaningful relationships from an early age.
