‘Veer Baal Diwas’

The Government of India has chosen to annually commemorate 26 December as “Veer Baal Diwas” to honour the extraordinary valour and sacrifice of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh ji and Sahibzada Fateh Singh ji, the younger sons of the tenth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji.

Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar celebrated the occasion with diverse activities like an animated movie showcase, storytelling, a wall of appreciation with Thank You Cards, a comprehensive morning assembly, digital exhibitions, and art club engagements for students. The commemoration blended education, creativity, and remembrance, ensuring that the courageous stories of Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh continue to inspire the student community.
