Orientation Session for Class VI – Empowering Students for the Journey Ahead

An orientation session for Class VI students and parents was conducted on Tuesday, 24 March 2026 by Smt. Bhawna Puri, Vice Principal, SPSMV to familiarise them with the academic structure and new initiatives of the school. The session highlighted the school’s focus on holistic development through skill-based learning, including the introduction of coding, mandatory sports participation, and the upcoming Saturday Skill Sessions covering practical life skills.

Parents were informed about the CBSE-based academic framework, assessment pattern, attendance requirements, and the Kaushal Bodh Vocational Programme. Key facilities such as Friday Completion Sessions, the Midday Meal option, and encouragement for newspaper reading were also shared.

The school’s rebranding, including a new logo and colour palette, was introduced, along with a transition period for uniforms. Guidelines regarding discipline, grooming, and communication channels were also discussed.

The new class teachers and the school counsellor were introduced, followed by an interactive session to address parents’ queries. The session was informative and motivating, reinforcing the importance of collaboration between school and parents for student success.
