Educational Tour & Experiential Learning- ISRO Visit

Students of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar participated in a thoughtfully planned educational tour to Mahabalipuram and Chennai from 23 to 25 December, aimed at promoting experiential and interdisciplinary learning. The tour began with visits to Arjuna’s Penance, the Pandava Rathas and the Shore Temple, where students gained first-hand exposure to India’s rich architectural and cultural heritage.

A key highlight of the tour was witnessing the live launch of ISRO’s LVM3-M6 / BlueBird Block-2 satellite, which ignited scientific curiosity and enthusiasm among students. The itinerary also included visits to the Kapaleeshwarar Temple and the Egmore Museum, offering meaningful insights into history, art and science. Reflection activities, cultural exposure and collaborative experiences made the tour both educational and enriching.
