Exploring Emerging Technologies for Tomorrow’s World

The IT Department organised an online workshop for students of Classes IV to XII on 11 December 2025, in collaboration with Learning Links Foundation under the IBM Skill Build initiative. The session focused on an Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, with the objective of strengthening students’ foundational understanding of emerging technologies.
The workshop was conducted in online mode, enabling students to participate from their homes. Throughout the session, students from Classes IV to XII displayed remarkable enthusiasm and curiosity. Their active participation, especially through thoughtful questions and clarification of doubts, reflected a strong interest and a healthy competitive spirit in understanding the applications and significance of Artificial Intelligence across various domains.
An important component of the workshop was the introduction to Credly, a digital credential platform. Students were informed about the requirement to create a Credly account, which serves as a secure and unified repository for storing and managing all digital certificates awarded upon successful completion of IBM Skill Build courses.
In addition to the introductory session, students were made aware of the wide range of technology-oriented courses available on the IBM Skill Build platform. Successful completion of these courses enables students to earn verified digital certificates, all of which can be accessed and maintained through their Credly accounts.
Overall, the workshop proved to be a highly enriching and informative experience, significantly enhancing students’ awareness and understanding of Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity. The session was beneficial for all participants and encouraged learners to explore future-ready technological skills.
