Special Assembly in Honour of Late Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan Ji

Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, organised a Special Assembly on Thursday, 04 December 2025, to pay heartfelt tribute to Late Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan Ji, Honourable Chairman Emeritus of the Salwan Education Trust. The assembly aimed to honour his exemplary life, values, and enduring contributions to the field of education.

The programme began with students invoking peace and divinity through the Gayatri Mantra.

Capt. Richa Sharma Katyal, Principal, addressed the gathering, highlighting Late Shri Shiv Dutt Salwan Ji’s vision, integrity, and unwavering commitment to nation-building through value-based education. She encouraged students to carry forward his legacy by upholding discipline, humility, empathy, and excellence in all spheres of life.

Ahana Salwan, Vice Head Girl, presented ‘An Ode to a Visionary,’ reciting self-composed verses inspired by his life and philosophy. Her heartfelt words resonated deeply with the audience, reminding them of the courage, compassion, and spirit of service that shaped his remarkable journey.

This was followed by a Poem Recitation by Smt. Uzma Aamir, who expressed profound gratitude for the ideals and legacy he left behind.
