Celebration of Guru Nanak Jayanti

Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, celebrated Guru Nanak Jayanti with devotion and reverence on Tuesday, 04 November 2025. The celebration began with a Prabhat Pheri led by the Principal, Capt Richa Sharma Katyal, along with students and teachers. The procession moved around the school premises and the school greens, resonating with the chanting of Satnam Waheguru and hymns in praise of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, creating an atmosphere of peace and spirituality.

To further deepen the understanding of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s teachings, students watched an enlightening video in their classrooms depicting his life, values, and contributions to humanity. The message of universal brotherhood, equality, and compassion was beautifully conveyed through the presentations.

The celebration concluded with the distribution of Karah Prasad among all students and staff, symbolising purity and the spirit of sharing. The day served as a meaningful reminder of Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s timeless teachings of truth, humility, and selfless service, inspiring everyone to follow the path of goodness and harmony.
