Waste Segregation Survey & Community Awareness Drive

As part of its ongoing commitment to environmental awareness, students from the Student Council of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar undertook a Waste Segregation Survey and Community Awareness Drive at the PWD Office on Friday, 8 August 2025. The initiative was designed to educate residents about proper waste management and sustainable practices.

Their efforts continued on Thursday, 14 August 2025, when the Student Council members visited the local MLA office to submit formal requests for support in helping society members adopt effective waste segregation methods. They also highlighted the unhygienic conditions outside the school premises, which had become a breeding ground for mosquitoes. The authorities assured immediate corrective action.

The drive exemplified the school’s vision of nurturing responsible citizens while encouraging students to contribute meaningfully to community well-being.
