On Saturday, 20 September 2025, SPSMV hosted an insightful workshop on sustainable waste management practices, encouraging the adoption of eco-friendly habits and contributing to environmental conservation. The event also witnessed the inauguration of Aerobins on the school premises, a significant step towards ensuring efficient waste disposal and treatment.

The workshop, coupled with an engaging street play, was conducted by the Indian Pollution Control Association in the Multi-Purpose Hall. It effectively underscored the vital importance of segregating wet and dry waste to achieve efficient recycling and treatment.

This initiative not only raised environmental awareness but also instilled a sense of responsibility among students, motivating them to embrace sustainable waste management practices within the school community.

The programme proved to be both informative and enriching, offering valuable learning experiences that will inspire lasting change.
