Storytelling Session

An engaging storytelling session was conducted on Tuesday, 29 July 2025, for students of Classes I and II, under the guidance of Smt. Sheetal Kapoor, Headmistress, SPSMV. Organised and led by the teacher trainees, the session was thoughtfully designed to promote listening skills, stimulate imagination, and support language development among young learners.
The trainees employed a variety of techniques to bring the stories to life, including expressive narration, engaging props, and visual aids, creating a vibrant and interactive storytelling experience. The use of voice modulation, gestures, and facial expressions added depth to the narration and kept the young audience fully engaged.
The students responded with great enthusiasm, actively participating in the session and thoroughly enjoying the stories presented. Their laughter, curiosity, and eagerness to interact were a testament to the effectiveness of the session in fostering a love for storytelling and language.
This enriching experience not only enhanced the children’s communication and comprehension skills, but also provided the teacher trainees with a valuable opportunity to practise and refine their teaching techniques in a real classroom environment.
