Participation in SDG Fest at Ahlcon International School

Smt. Trapti and Smt. Shalini Raheja, faculty teachers of the Science Department in school, attended the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Fest at Ahlcon International School, Mayur Vihar on Thursday, 25 September 2025. The event was organised to encourage collaboration and shared learning among schools in relation to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The fest witnessed the participation of 14 schools, each presenting innovative best practices and inspiring success stories from their Eco Clubs. These presentations reflected the schools’ commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.

The deliberations during the event focused on critical environmental issues such as solid waste management, elimination of single-use plastics, adoption of clean energy practices, and climate action. Schools highlighted their effective strategies and initiatives, while also showcasing achievements that demonstrated measurable impacts on environmental conservation and community engagement.

The event concluded with the distribution of certificates to all participants. It proved to be an enriching and motivating experience, offering valuable insights and inspiration for strengthening sustainability initiatives within schools.

The Principal and school management appreciated the opportunity for the Science faculty to participate in such a meaningful and impactful programme.
