Movie Screening

Between Wednesday, 16 July and Friday, 18 July 2025, students from Classes IV to XI were taken for a special screening of the inspirational film Sitaare Zameen Par. Organised as a part of the school’s continued efforts to offer holistic and value-based education, this thoughtfully planned outing aimed to enrich the learners’ emotional and social understanding beyond the boundaries of textbooks and classrooms.
The film conveyed a deeply moving message centred around empathy, acceptance, and the importance of recognising and nurturing the unique strengths of every child.
Students responded to the experience with great excitement and emotional engagement. The film sparked thoughtful conversations and self-reflection. Following the screening, learners were encouraged to articulate their thoughts through expressive drawings and journal writing. These creative responses beautifully captured their understanding of the film’s core themes, including kindness, inclusion, and the value of individuality.
Far more than a cinematic outing, the experience served as a meaningful extension of the classroom—reinforcing the idea that every child is special and deserves to be understood, appreciated, and celebrated just as they are.
