Mother’s Day Celebration

The Early Childhood Department of Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar celebrated Mother’s Day on Saturday, 10 May 2025, with heartfelt warmth and deep appreciation. The event was a beautiful tribute to the unique and enduring bond between mothers and their children, creating a day filled with joy, gratitude, and celebration.

The programme began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolising wisdom, enlightenment, and positivity. Capt Richa Sharma Katyal, Principal, SPSMV, addressed the gathering and acknowledged the crucial role that mothers play in the holistic development of their children. Her inspiring words set a meaningful tone for the celebration.

The students captivated the audience with a series of delightful performances, including a heartwarming Welcome song, vibrant dances, and soulful songs dedicated to Mother’s Day. These performances truly stole the spotlight and became the highlight of the event.

The Headmistress, Mrs. Sheetal Kapoor, delivered the vote of thanks, expressing her gratitude to all the mothers for their unwavering support and presence. As a token of love and appreciation, each mother was presented with a handcrafted bouquet made by the children — a thoughtful and personal keepsake to cherish.
