Investiture Ceremony 2024–2025

Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar organised its Annual Investiture Ceremony for the academic session 2025–2026 on Friday, 25 July 2025, to formally induct the newly appointed Student Council. The Chief Guest for the occasion was Brigadier R.N. Mathur (Retd), whose presence added grace and inspiration to the ceremony. The event began with the ceremonial lamp lighting to invoke the blessings of the Almighty and mark an auspicious beginning.

The programme’s objective, centred on nurturing leadership with integrity and vision, was introduced along with the various Student Council committees. This was followed by the welcome address by Capt Richa Sharma Katyal, Principal, SPSMV who warmly greeted the esteemed guests, parents, and students. In her address, she emphasised the importance of student leadership, integrity, and accountability. She also congratulated the newly appointed council members and proudly announced the school’s prestigious 5th rank in the Indian Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF).

An uplifting rendition by the school choir set the tone for the proceedings, followed by a graceful contemporary dance performance dedicated to the spirit of mentorship and guidance. The cultural segment also featured a thought-provoking TED Talk titled ‘Tech Dominators’, where students presented the innovative MedChair project—an assistive seating solution designed to support individuals with limited mobility.

During the solemn Oath Ceremony, the council pledged to serve with sincerity and dedication. The Chief Guest, in his keynote address, encouraged the students to lead with empathy, courage, and purpose. The Head Girl and Head Boy shared their vision for the year ahead.
The ceremony concluded with expressions of gratitude to the Salwan Education Trust, dignitaries, staff, parents, and students for their continued support and encouragement.
