Inter-Class Storytelling Competition

An Inter-Class Storytelling Competition was organised for the students of KG with the aim of imbuing creativity, self-expression, and effective communication skills among young learners. The preliminary round took place on Monday, 07 July 2025, where children enthusiastically narrated short stories, bringing them to life with vivid imagination, expressive gestures, and thoughtful use of props.
The performances were evaluated on the basis of confidence, clarity of speech, content, and overall presentation. From each section, three students were selected to advance to the final round, which was held on Monday, 14 July 2025. The finalists captivated their audience with their engaging storytelling abilities, expressive voices, and creative use of visual aids.
This enriching activity is aligned with the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for the Foundational Stage, which emphasises the importance of language development through experiential learning. Furthermore, it provides a platform to promote family traditions, moral values, and cultural heritage, helping children develop a deeper connection with their roots.
The competition proved to be a joyful and meaningful experience, celebrating the power of stories and the unique voices of every child.
