Inspiring Young Minds to Protect Nature and Our Feathered Friends

An Environmental Workshop was organised for the students of Classes I and II on 10 March 2026, to create awareness about birds and the importance of protecting nature. The session was conducted by Rakesh Khatri, popularly known as The Nest Man of India. A total of 212 students participated in the workshop.

The session was both informative and engaging for the young learners. Shri Khatri introduced the students to the fascinating world of birds and their nests, explaining how different birds build their homes using natural materials such as twigs, leaves, grass, and mud.

To make the session more interactive, he demonstrated the process of making a nest and also showed real nests to the students. He explained how birds carefully construct their nests to protect their eggs and young ones.

The students observed the nests with great curiosity and enthusiasm. The workshop helped them understand the importance of caring for nature and protecting birds, encouraging them to become responsible towards the environment.
