Indo-Russian Space Event

On the occasion of World Space Week, Ms. Romita Anthem, TGT Science, along with three students of Class XI, attended the Indo-Russian Space Event held at the Russian Centre of Science and Culture, Mandi House, on Saturday, 11 October 2025.
The programme began with a welcome address by Dr. Elena Remizova, Director of the Centre, who emphasized the importance of international collaboration in space research. The highlight of the event was an interactive session with Cosmonaut Denis Matveev, Russian engineer and flight engineer of the Soyuz MS-21 mission, launched on 12 April 2022.
Mr. Matveev shared captivating experiences from his journey aboard the International Space Station (ISS), including details about his daily routines, scientific experiments, and spacewalks. His engaging narration offered an inspiring glimpse into the challenges and triumphs of human space exploration, leaving students awed by the vastness of the cosmos and the spirit of discovery.
The event proved to be an enriching and motivational experience, igniting curiosity among students and deepening their appreciation for science, technology, and the endless possibilities that lie beyond our planet.
