Earth Day Week Celebrations

The school celebrated Earth Week with great enthusiasm and dedication from 21 April – 25 April, 2025 . Students of Classes I and II actively participated in various activities, promoting awareness about environmental conservation and sustainability.

Day 1: Earth Day Assembly

Class II A organized a thought-provoking assembly on Earth Day, highlighting ways to save our planet. Students delivered inspiring speeches and performed a captivating dance, emphasizing the importance of protecting wildlife and natural resources. Our Headmistress emphasized the impact of small actions in saving the Earth.

Day 2: Sun-themed Art and Craft

Students created vibrant sun-themed artwork using origami paper, learning about the significance of natural resources. This activity encouraged creativity while promoting environmental awareness.

Day 3: Poster Making – Reduce, Reuse, Recycle

Students made colourful posters illustrating the 3Rs: Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. This activity helped them understand the importance of these practices in daily life.

Day 4: Eco -dustbins – Waste Management Awareness

An informative video and demonstration by class teachers educated students on segregating wet and dry waste. This initiative aimed to instil responsible waste management habits.

Day 5: Nature Walk

A guided nature walk in the school greens allowed students to explore and appreciate plant species. This interactive experience fostered a deeper connection with nature.

The Earth Week celebration was a resounding success, inspiring students to become eco-conscious and take small steps towards a sustainable future.
