Chiselling Creativity, Carving Dreams

On Tuesday, 16 September 2025, Shri Ashish Kumar of SPSMV conducted a Wood Carving workshop at Ramjas International School, R.K. Puram, for students of the secondary and senior secondary sections. The session provided the participants with an enriching opportunity to explore the timeless craft of wood carving.

During the workshop, students enthusiastically engaged in transforming plain wooden blocks into artistic creations. Under Sir’s guidance, they learnt essential skills such as the safe use of tools, the importance of understanding wood grain, and the application of basic carving techniques. The hands-on experience not only honed their craftsmanship but also instilled confidence in experimenting with a new medium of expression.

The young learners displayed remarkable enthusiasm and curiosity throughout the session. Their active participation reflected the joy of combining learning with creativity, making the workshop a memorable and inspiring experience that broadened their artistic horizons.
