Session on ‘Joys of Physics’

Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, in collaboration with Anveshika Physics Bharat Yatra (APBY)—a prestigious national initiative of the National Anveshika Network of India (NANI) and the Indian Association of Physics Teachers (IAPT)—organised a hands-on session for class XII students  on ‘Joys of Physics’ on Monday, 18 August 2025 in school premises.

The session was conducted by Ms Swati Chawla, Coordinator, Bal Bharti Public School, Noida Anveshika, and Mr Vijay Kumar, Physics Educator. On this occasion, an e-Mashaal was presented to the Head of School, SPS MV, by Ms Chawla, followed by the felicitation of the resource persons.

The experts demonstrated engaging activities on force multipliers, circuits with bulbs in series, motor principles, surface tension using soap solutions, Newton’s laws, suction, floatation, torque, moment of inertia, and several other concepts. The students participated with enthusiasm, brainstorming actively and connecting classroom learning with real-life applications.

The session concluded with a vote of thanks, leaving the students enriched and inspired by the wonders of Physics.
