Achievers’ Day 2024–25: Applauding Excellence, Igniting Aspirations

Salwan Public School, Mayur Vihar, celebrated Achievers’ Day 2024–2025 on Saturday, 19 July 2025, with great pride to honour the academic and co-scholastic excellence of its students. The occasion was graced by Shri Bharat Salhotra, the Chairman of the school, as the Chief Guest.
The event began with ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment. Capt Richa Sharma Katyal, Principal SPSMV in her address applauded the collaborative efforts of students, teachers, and parents in building a culture of excellence.
A stirring musical performance by the school choir left a lasting impression, with their rendition of ‘Hall of Fame’ capturing the spirit of ambition and perseverance. This was followed by a thought-provoking panel discussion by students on ‘Born Leaders vs. Made Leaders’, which showcased their critical thinking, confidence, and eloquence. In continuation, Shri Bharat Salhotra, the chairperson in his address underscored the power of the three Cs—Communication, Collaboration, and the Cultivation of life skills—as the cornerstones of personal growth and effective leadership in the modern world.
The core highlight of the event was the felicitation of meritorious achievers from Classes VI to XII, of the session 2024-2025. Students who achieved national recognition in co-scholastic domains were also applauded.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks and words of encouragement. Achievers’ Day stood as a testament to the school’s commitment to holistic education and the belief that every child has the potential to achieve greatness.
