Eligibility Criteria

Written Test Criteria

  • SCIENCE STREAM: Minimum 50% marks required each in Science and Mathematics.
  • COMMERCE STREAM: Minimum 50% marks required each in Social Science and Mathematics.
  • HUMANITIES STREAM:
    • (a) Humanities with Mathematics & Economics – Minimum 50% marks in Social Science and Mathematics.
    • (b) Humanities without Mathematics with Economics – Minimum 50% marks in Social Science/English and Mathematics.
    • (c) Humanities without Mathematics & without Economics – Minimum 50% marks each in Social Science and English.

Important Note

  1. Provisional admission (till Board results) will be granted based on an Admission Test consisting of subjective-type questions aligned with CBSE.
  2. Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interaction with the Principal.
  3. Interaction does not guarantee provisional admission.
  4. The final result will be communicated telephonically.
  5. Provisional admission will be cancelled if the candidate fails to qualify the Board Examination.

Eligibility Criteria | Salwan Public School

Eligibility Criteria for Class KG-IX

  • For KG – II: Interaction of Parents with School Counsellor and Class Coordinator. Shortlisted candidates will have an interaction with Headmistress.
  • For Classes III – V: Written test consisting of objective and subjective-type questions aligned with syllabus will be conducted by the school. Minimum 75% Marks Required each in English, Hindi, Mathematics and EVS. Shortlisted candidates who meet the criteria will be called for an interaction with Headmistress for admission.
  • For Classes VI – IX: Written test consisting of objective and subjective-type questions aligned with NCERT Syllabus will be conducted by the school.,Minimum 50% Marks required each in English, Hindi, Mathematics and Science. Shortlisted candidates who meet the criteria will be called for an interaction with HoS.

Important Note

  • The final result will be communicated telephonically to the parents of selected candidates.
  • Interaction with the HoS or Headmistress does not guarantee admission.
