Students responded to the experience with great excitement and emotional engagement. The film sparked thoughtful conversations and self-reflection. Following the screening, learners were encouraged to articulate their thoughts through expressive drawings and journal writing. These creative responses beautifully captured their understanding of the film’s core themes, including kindness, inclusion, and the value of individuality. Far more than a cinematic outing, the experience served as a meaningful extension of the classroom—reinforcing the idea that every child is special and deserves to be understood, appreciated, and celebrated just as they are.

The little ones arrived dressed in bright floral prints, colourful hats, and stylish sunglasses, adding a festive charm to the celebration. Their radiant smiles and excited chatter brought the classrooms to life. As part of the day’s activities, each child brought along a small object from home that held a special memory from their holidays. Whether it was a seashell from a beach trip, a favourite toy, or a souvenir from a family outing, these cherished items served as prompts for the children to share their holiday experiences with their classmates. Taking turns to speak, the young learners confidently expressed their stories, inculcating a sense of connection, joy, and early communication skills. Safe and Unsafe Touch

Students of Classes Nursery and KG attended an engaging and informative session on ‘Safe and Unsafe Touch.’ The session began with a thoughtful skit presented by their teachers, helping children identify and understand different types of touch in a simple and relatable manner. Following the skit, students watched an age-appropriate video that reinforced the key messages. To make the concept more tangible, teachers used a doll to explain body safety rules and private parts. Children were taught clear steps on how to respond if someone attempts to touch them inappropriately — by saying ‘No,’ pushing the person away, shouting, running to a safe place, and immediately informing a trusted adult such as a parent or teacher. A catchy and easy to remember rhyme was introduced to help them recall these steps. The session concluded with sharing the Child Helpline Number – 1098, and children were encouraged to always speak up if they feel uncomfortable or unsafe. It was an interactive session that aimed to create awareness about body safety and empower young learners to protect themselves confidently.
